Season started on Sept 13th for me, shot 13 grays so far, cold front came early before season started, been warm ever since . This morning around 10 am I heard a couple bullets whizzing near me, shots were about 30 seconds apart,, right after the 2nd shot i heard someone whistling at me,,,, Really??? You shoot near/@ me twice to notify me im getting close to you? Then you whistle @ me ? Hows YOUR hunting season going?

Killed 3 this morning, should of been 4 , wounded and lost one ... Got my first Fox Squirrel in 2 years, a big male.... Mornings temps have been nice despite hot/dry afternoon temps. 19 bushytails in the bag so far this season

I've shot one. Only been out for 2 hours.

Hopefully end of October I can start getting some woods time!

That's extremely dangerous and irresponsible behavior from that other hunter. Firing warning shots is never acceptable. Glad you're safe. Hopefully your season gets better from here.

In my state he could have been arrested for that stupidity.

Killed 42 bushytails so far this Fall. Definitely one of my best seasons. Killed one recently that was 40 feet up a tree, love seeing them drop like that, it dont happen that way often, made a couple 45/50 yard shots too this year. My focus will be shifting to deer but still may bring the pellet gun with me on occasion. I've seen several deer while squirrel hunting but nothing while bow hunting LOL.

Skipped yesterday morning and went out for the afternoon. Killed 4 in an hour which never happens to me LOL. 48 so far .
