A couple public land chunks in north east Ohio.

Just one gray this evening. Should of had 2 or 3 more. Scope was off 4 inches. I don't know why this keeps happening. I try very hard not to bump the scope. Frustrating.

One gray this evening



Seen a few more. Used my new squirrel in distress call . It sounds like a coyote call . And it made a pack of yotes howl.

I haven't used any squirrel calls in years. When I was a teenager I used a Lohman squirrel in distress whistle. And that really seemed to get the squirrels barking during early season. The one I have now sounds like a coyote call. Oh well. Beautiful day. Light south winds. Highs in lower 60s

One gray this morning. Died with a nut in its mouth. Seen several other squirrel. Got within 8 ft of a porcupine. Happy October everyone! My favorite month.
