Called in a coyote - getting the hang of it!
It's taken me about 10 years of trial and error, but I've finally begun to really get the hang of calling coyotes. I managed to call two in this past week after work, but my AR-15 failed to fire, then I missed a running shot with the shotgun. Saturday was a complete bust, but my luck changed tonight. After only 15 minutes of calling, this 34 pound male galloped to within 65 yards. My AR-15 dispatched him quickly.
Might have to start taking my handguns if they're going to keep getting as close as they have been.
