Default Beaver Trapping in Minnesota

After primarily being a dry land trapper for several years, I've decided it was time to hit the water in search of some beaver. After locating a beaver dam, I found what I though was their natural crossover point where I placed a trap on the upstream side in hopes of catching a beaver as he or she attempted to cross over to the other side. As luck would have it, I connected on my very first night on my very first series of beaver traps fueling my newest addiction! Sadly the same bodies of water are solid ice at the moment, but once they open up, I'll be back at it once again.
