Default Full Moon Coyotes - 170 & 140 Yards

This was my first time shooting a coyote off of a dead animal, in this case, a 240 lb sow that I shot 3 nights prior. Two through and through shots put it down, the first shot being a tad high. The second coyote was called in from 600 yards or more. It took her a while to come in, but when she was finally close enough and stopped, she went down with a shot to the center of her chest that traveled into her body lengthwise and did not exit.

Aside from the full moon, I could not have asked for a much better night to be hunting. The temperature was perfect for stalking without getting sweaty and warm enough to not get a chill. The breeze was light. Visibility was very good.
