Early Morning Marauder
Last night was weird... I walked up on a coyote and could not ID it because my scope light was not adjusted correctly. I could have shot it 10 times. I had to pass, then it moved away and I figured out what it was. Bummer!
Next spot, a red fox passed me at 8 yards en route to the call. He smelled it and ran away before i could shot. Bummer!
Then, pesky snow fell so I quit for the night. Bummer!
Today, I awoke at 5:30 AM and headed out. This cherry red came into Eastern cottontail at the 8 minute mark!!! He was acting funny, so I took the shot at 100 yards!
