Default Small game hunting in AZ

Hey guys-
I'm new here so please tell me if I do something wrong. I had a question: does anybody know of any places in Arizona that you can go and hunt small game(rabbits, ground squirrels, etc.) with an air rifle?
What are the requirements? I live in downtown Phoenix, AZ, so something close-ish would be nice if possible.

Thanks,
Gman1542

So, technically, I could just head into that block 22 area and start hunting(Possessing a license of course!)?

After what I've just skimmed there... yes.

Make sure you read all the rules/regs though, don't want to get caught with your pants down. Make sure an air rifle is an approved method of taking small game, make sure you're hunting in a legal area, make sure you've got your license, and you should be good to go.

This map is better, you can get closer to Phoenix if you want.

If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to call your local game warden/conservation officer/whatever you guys call them there.

They will assist you.

Ok, thanks. Looks like I'll probably go in unit 25M.
