Any cheap .22 plinker scope would do, one would think.

I like the Barska on my .22 that I got from walmart for 35 bucks, I wouldn't overthink an air rifle scope.

you could always buy a dovetail to weaver adapter and place a 4-12 x 36 on it...

Looked like the big cat had a rail on it... don't know much about air rifles though.

For the price of those new, I would have picked up another Marlin 795.

I have a day state ranger with a mtc 4-12-44 on it,crystal clear optics with good features on it. Look them up on the net not sure who would sell them in usa maybe airguns of arizona,
Look at there sight as well. Exceptional scope for the money ,worth a look.

If you are wanting to put a scope on an air rifle, you will need an air rifle scope that will withstand the rear-ward recoil from an air rifle. Most scopes will/do not withstand it for long. We have put scopes over $400 and had them crap out in under 100 shots due to this. I have a Leupold air gun scope on my R1 and use it for ADC work. I have used it for over 20yrs and it is still dead nuts on at 20yds.
