I am originaly from Western New York and I Grew up woodchuck hunting in the 1970's. I live in Maryland and would love to come back and hunt chucks again. I have a restored 22 hornet. I have several deer leases in Maryland and would be happy to trade some chuck hunting in NY for a deer hunt in Maryland. I live on the Chesapeake Bay and we have a lot of deer here. I am also interested in hunting deer and coyotes and would trade hunts. lets talk.

You might recall that all we used to do is show up at a farm and ask permission.
The problem here in all of New England is that the chucks are gone!
The coyotes have chased them from the meadows where the great shooting was.
I hunted Eastern NY, CT and Vermont for chucks since the 1960's and now they are gone.
This was my favorite hunting.
I talked to a guy from CT who found a place in Northern NY with some chucks.
I would make sure they have them before going.
