hey p-nut and bernie..ignorant narrowminded views like yours are the reason why us hunters are having so much trouble these days....if you dont like people who bait deer...THEN PLEASE DO NOT COME TO KENTUCKY TO DEER HUNT..AS WE ALL BAIT DEER HERE..ANYWAYS..WHERE IS THE DIFF ON A CORN-PILE AND A CORNFIELD?..A APPLE-PILE OR A APPLE ORCHARD..A BEET PILE OR A BEET FIELD?..A OAT-PILE OR A OATFIELD????

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.Like calling someone ignorant just because their opinion differs from yours. That said how is a bait pile the same as a crop? You know EXACTLY where the deer will be.Now please excuse my ignorance one more time but how does a bobcat or any animal caught in a trap while you're back home watching tv or whatever qualify the take as a trophy?

From what others have told me You need to stay as scent-free as possible when setting your traps as in wearing rubber gloves and keeping the trap scent free also...others also hang a few feathers over the trap to draw in a Bobcat.
I mostly hunt with a Bow or Rifle but have done a little trapping in hopes of getting a Bobcat also....and You can bet I would have it Mounted or the hide tanned and hung on my wall just the same as if I had shot it.Trapping and Hunting are still a legal sport and take time work and energy none the less.
If a certain State allows baiting then so be it,we still plant food plots and are allowed to put out Salt and Minerals just the same here in Missouri....so who's to judge each other? If You don't like a certain law then call your State Senator and voice your opinion or vote something in or out!
