December 30 Coyote
I called in this coyote the other afternoon while my friend was checking a canyon for lion tracks.
I sat down, and did two series of calls with my Circe call, when two dogs came in fast and hard. I had the lead dog in the scope, and when he stopped at about 150 yards, I let him have it.
The .223 did its job and put him down instantly. I am quite pleased with the performance of the handloads, and was pleasantly surprised with how little damage there was to the hide. I did more damage skinning him, that the bullet did, lol.
