I Got my first Coyote last week while i was deer hunting I shot him about a 100 yards away,Got him with my Savage Stevens Model 200 .308.

@Sheridan, Thanks, I was going to have him skinned out and tanned but we talked to a few taxidermist and the hole was to big after shooting him with 165 grain .308. The taxidermist said after skinning him the hole would stretch out be be bigger and it wouldn't look right if he sowed it up, so i just kept the tale. Im going back out to hunt for more yotes after deer season and try to call some in, he was 1 of 3 I seen.

Oh well................one less yote anyway - that's a good thing !

I'm in SoCal and even our winter pelts aren't very thick.
