Nice lookin rifle!

Are youusing a hammer extention? Make sure it clears the scope. Had one on my HR 30-30 took it outtarget shooting and the scope was interfering with the hammer. Wasn't making complete stikes on the fireing pin had to remove the extention.
Yes it has a hammer extension. I made sure that it had enough room. I have the "high" mounts on it just for that reason. I've also paid extra close attention while firing the rifle to make sure there is no contact.

That is a nice gun. Just wondering how much did that setup cost you?
I paid $200 for the rifle, but could have gotten it cheaper. I got into a freaking bidding war with another guy at the last minute.

As for the scope. I can't remember. I've had that scope for almost ten years.

Where did you bid on it at?

This is a five shot group with 55gr Remington PSPs. I don't think it's too bad considering the price of the rifle and that the only thing I had for a rest was my jacket thrown across my tail gate. The first shot is the shot in the orage. The shot that hit low and to the left was my fault, not the rifle.

I've had that same rifle for a few years now. It hasn't seen alot of action, but it is a real nice gun. I have shot under an inch at 100(even a few cloverleafs)on occasion, but I'm not going to call it a 'Sub MOA' rifle by any means.

I've had some problems with the scope keeping zero, and have got a new set of Talley one-piece bases and a Burris FFII just waiting for a good time to be mounted. Can't wait to see it then.

BTW, my groups open up a bitonce the barrel starts to warn up.
