Default Coyote Down..

Hey guys, tonight i took my first coyote and im pretty pumped about it. This week is our shotgun week so naturally i wasnt out there with the archery tackle, instead i was sporting my Remington 870. I had seen this guy a couple times before when i was bow hunting but never had a shot at him. Tonight after about ten minutes on stand i looked over to the right to see him cruising through the woods about 80 yards away heading off to my left. I couldnt get a clear shot at him so i decided to grab my heat bleat and see if i couldnt turn him my way. Sure enough it worked like a charm and he came to me on a string. Ended up taking the shot at about 25 yards with him slightlyquartering towards me.Initially he fell rightover but ended up getting back up before doing the standard wobble and expiring roughly 30 seconds after the shot, not moving more than a yard from the point of impact. Turned out to be liver hit and the Hornady SST's tore him up. Not a bowkill but you guys are my only family on these forums. Im happy to have my first predator under my belt and one less coyote in the woods where im hunting deer.

Skinned him out and he's getting pelted, he has a great red tint on the fur throughout his back.
