Default Ever seen this before?

I was deer hunting on Saturday and ended up shooting a coyote at about 50 yards with my .270 and a 130 gr. Gameking. It was a quick shoot as it crossed a fire break so I ended up hitting him a ways back. I didn't find him but I did find hair at the impact point (not unusual) but about 10 ft. form there I found what looked like vomit (unusual). All I can figure is that either the gut shot caused him to puke last nights dinner or I busted his belly open. I found no blood. Any Idea?

I know that fox often vomit so that they are lighter for fleeing. I'm guessing that this coyote suddenly got "sick to his stomach" due to shock from the impact

The shock could very easily do it.
