i shoot the gold express pellet, 1200fps. I take rabbits at the far end of my garden, from the bedroom window. It's about 45yrds. they don't go far with a head or shoulder shot. I had to take a skunk for the guy next door, same thing hit it in the shoulder at about 30yds. Never knew what happened.

Gamo's are fun. I have a Big Cat 1200. Word of warning- Don't leave it cocked for any length of time. My girl was shooting and left it cocked for 2 days. Went from vermin slayer to Daisy BB-Gun. It sits in the corner now. [:'(]

I have a gamo pellet gun and I can't get the thing to keep a 8in group at 30 yards... any suggestions that might help?

i have one also. i think it is the 220 model .177. it shoots fairly decent but the trigger is terrible. if i can get a good steady pull its accurate.

Have you tryed different pellets? Sometimes that is the key, may spend a few bucks on pellets you'll never use, but so what. Mine shoots much better with the gold coated pellets. give it a shot. ilyote is right to, could be a few things.

PCP (Pre-compressed pneaumatic)airguns are more accurate, without the reverse-recoil of the springers.

I have heard great things about the new Benjamin Discovery!

I went to the BPS web site where people write reviews, a lot of people have trouble with the scope mount coming loose. I guess that you have to remove the scope and tighten a set screw in the mount that goes into an indent in the receiver. Use some blue locktite also.

Thats a good point, in the directions they say to check all screws before shooting. Mine was fine, but on my buddys gamo the two screws by the trigger plate were not tight.

Yea, The repair guy is in Ft.Lauderdale, FL. It's 5-6 weeks minimum after receiving it. I didn't check on cost.

My girl was shooting the Gamo when I was plinking with my .22. She doesn't want to shoot anymore (chicks?) .

I'll probably send it over the winter when I splitboarding and not thinking about it. I won't be waiting for it to comeback.
