I got this picture on my old reliable photo hunter 35mm film camera. Got them developed tonight. I have never seen him before but I will be looking for him this winter.

WOW, sure will be a nice coyote this winter with a great coat! He's got some long legs aye'??

he would make a great full body mount. i have never seen a coyote that was an interphase like that.

We have a few that are colored like that but also have some solid black coyotes too. One of my neigbors is a big trapper and he caught 2 sold black females one winter. He had both of them mounted. Then about 3 years ago and kid that works on a big farm next to me killed a black male coyote . He had it mounted as well. This is actually the second picture of have got of colored coyote. I will see if I can find it.

I found it and here it is. This one was taken about 5 miles from the other one.

cool lookin yote that would be a good one this winter. i have some property i just lined up to hunt and the owner said he has been seeing a a black yote .good luck

Hey DTC I'm wondering if you are near New York? A guy posted a pic last winter of a dog he shot that was even blacker than this one. Just wondering if your out thata way.

thats how all our yotes look around my area, really dark around the neckline and tails...





but only in winter coat
