Took my bow out for a walk today was out about 15 minutes and got this one. Spoted it on the side of a tree, it took off about 40 yards away then circled back and came down behind a bank about 60 yards from where i was standing. I walked up to the top of the bank and had a clear 20 yard shot. Well worth the stalk for my first time bowhunting small game. Also there was a good size doe about 40 yards from the squirrel that took off after the shot. Cant wait for deer season.

Saw a hole bunch today but couldnt swing the old mossberg 195 fast enough...i will rethink using that for squirrel next time unless im going to sit.

Got another bushy tail today, the canopy is still to dense above the forest and the battle between me and the squirrells are really heating up. They get to high and i just lose them...Once the leaves fall from the tree's its over with...A good start so far...

I decided to get out this evening, didn't see very many but managed to kill 2 more. That should put me to 37 so far.

It is to hot to bow hunt so I went out again this evening. Managed to kill 5 more tonight. Also found a bunch of fall mushrooms.

Spikehorn, those little reds are awesome looking, wish we had those here, they would be fun to hunt with a 22 rifle.

They are. They are very hyper and just about never sit still. When they spot you they sound off and its a game of hide and seek. I've spent 20 minutes before finding some.

Only killed 2 this evening, it was hot and they weren't moving. Only saw 4 squirrels all evening.

Got 4 more this morning, also picked a bag of mushrooms. Fried squirrels and mushrooms for me this week. I will sure be glad when that cool front moves in on us Wednesday.

We are loaded with squirrels and you can tell by our season on them. We open the last weekend in May and it closes Feb 15th. I usually always kill over100 squirrels a year. When I was still in high school we had a migration and they were every where you looked. One of my buddys and I killed 450 combined that year. Our parents were ready to kill us b/c they got sick of eating them.

got this guy this evening pulled a great shot i was right under him an he jumped an i hit him in mid air right in the chest with my 22 had to jump out of the way to keep from getting hit by him

OK alot of ppl that sighed up have not posted any kills so i am going to start combinding teams so if ur season hasnt opened yet you have till the 4th of oct to let me know other than that i am going to combind some teams that way there just aint one person doing all the killing for that team the teams that have kills an every one on there team has killed will stay the same othere than that i will be making some changes

Yea some what it aint fair to have to be the only one doing the killing like me i am the only one on my team that has killed any thig an so are u so i am going to just switch it up some i will leave some teams the same but then i will make some news as well
