shot five this morning and lost three[:@]. they wernt far shots and i thought i had them marked good not sure if they crawled off and hid. hadtwo buddies with me. one got his limit of five and the other shot two. not to bad of a morning saw the most squirrels of the season so far.

Alright all you squirrel hunters, what methods do you use, dogs, spot and stalk, run and gun, or still hunt??? Just wondering what everyone prefers.
I am more of a spot and stalk, I like to slip in under them litter fellas while they are chewing on a nut and then roll them out wth my 22. |

Went out again this morning. Only killed this 1 squirrel but I did kill 2 coyotes. Sorry no pics of the coyotes, to hot to drag them out.

Got one crawling up a tree at 20 and one in the Canvas about 45 50 yards with a Iver Johson single shot 12 gauge...Not to bad for a little are and only 2 hours out in the woods...Went with my buddy he missed 3...Got to paper tune a new gun from now on...

Got this one a little while ago with my Chinese .177 air rifle.
$20 gun + little tweaking = a pretty good little squirrel gun. Doesnt shoot very hard maybe around 600 fps but does the job..especially with a head or in this case neck shot.  |

Got these this morning. Those are red squirrels not chipmunks. You guys that don't have reds don't know what your missing. They're really hyper and don't sit still. Fun and frustrating with a .22.

I don't know about everyone else but we have a ton of squirrels right now. Bow season opens next week so I will slow down compared to the last 2 weeks. |
