I would like to try shooting some praire dogs myself. Are they really so stupid that they just stand there when the one next to them gets shot?

No such thing...there is a video out on Youtube or one of the other sites of guy using a 50bmg on p'dogs.

depends on if the towns been hunted or not, alot of the towns around here know that "people = death". so they bail pretty fast...
