I know there's a lot of different ways and places to sell these. How do you guys do it? I've sold some over the internet and others to local fur buyers.

My old man and I usually use a local buyer. I can't remember where he went next, but he was in Gypsum, KS on the 20th of January (yesterday) and I think he'll be back on the 7th or 14th of February. He doesn't take carcasses though, just skins, you don't have to tan them or anything, just skin them. My uncle's buyer, on the other hand, up by brookville and Hedville, would rather hunters don't skin them, he has a skinning machine that he claims can skin a coon like peeling a banana. If you want more info on either, I could probably find names and numbers for these guys, since you're in Kansas anyway.

There is a market, but not much of one.I've been skinning a few of mine and will be taking them to a buyer in N.W. Ks. later this winter.Hope to get from $15 to $25 for the skins.

even though coyote still pays more then fox there both down in price.i will sell the better ones to a locale buyer and the rest i will shin them out, borax tan them and give them away or hang them in the garage.i don't hunt predators for the money,i do it for the challange and to attempt to keep there numbers under control.

WE USUALLY TAKE THEM TO THE RECYCLKING PLAT AND THEY PAY US LIKE 20 DOLLARS A HIDE. THAT WAS SEVERAL YEARS AGO SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PRICE WOULD BE NOW.
