There's also the option of just living with the skunk, but first find out what's making it spray. They do that as a last resort if they can't bluff their way out of a threatening situation, and something is scaring the critter enough to make it use up it's spray on a regular basis. Hate the game, not the player. ;)

Actually skunks leave their scent often, they use it for other things, and it remains with them even if they spray elsewhere. I suppose you could say they could learn to live with the smell for the sake of the animal?
