Default Pellet gun hunting.

Do you hunt small game with a pellet gun? If so, what do you hunt?

I'm shooting a Daisy 1000s w/scope. I get about 1000 fps with .177 cal hollow point pellets. My max shooting distance is about 75 yards.

Here's a picture of one of my kills.

I watched a show on air rifles not long ago, and this guy was killing everything with it. He even stated he would not even hesitate to hunt deer (up close) with it. I think thats pushing it a bit, but these air rifles he was using were really ZINGING. I think its great that they are producing these High Tech airrifles these days. Great pics by the way ! Good hunting .... SHOTARYE

75 yards is impressive. I saw a website where guys were killing hogs with pellet guns. 177 calibur! seemed crazy.

yeah its pretty crazy. at first i didnt beleive it. they use scuba tanks to pressurize guns to 3000psi to propel "pellets" and speed close to that of sound, some guns producing 500fpe or more.
