In years past, I've had a lot of success calling yotes at night, I've always used a 12ga pump with 4-6shot, with my SKS nearby for long rangers, usually it never got used, cuz they'd come in too close. I'd typically get them to the point I could see them without lights and be sure I could get at least two shots off before they were out of sight, then if needed I would pick up the rifle and light and have a long range shootoff with my buddies.
How do yall do it?
Screw the 10 ring, keep them in the zero!!!

You might want to check your local regulations. Here in OK we can only use a shotgun with size 6 or smaller at night. We also have to contact the GW in the county you plan on doing the hunting and let him know where you will be and when. Do you use a red lens on your light? That helps to not spook them sometimes. Sometimes they respond well to a howler at night.
