RE: Barnes Varmint Grenade???
They were designed as a very fragile bullet so that they fragment very easily/quickly upon impact. Not good for coyote sized game, but rather rock chucks, priairie dogs, etc.
Not all hollow points are equal. In other words, they all are designed differently, much like plastic tipped bullets are. They make look about the same, but designed for different purposes. |

Ok....thanks Howler
I can always look to you for help! |
RE: Barnes Varmint Grenade???
if you hunt in an area that has cover, I would not use them. If those hit a blade of grass the will be knocked off course.

RE: Barnes Varmint Grenade???
My buddy is currently using them, he loves them! He uses them on yote's, cause he collects the pelts. He showed me some photos of some yotes hes shot and it completely jellifies the inside, very impressive..... He reloads them, I'm not sure what cal. either a 223 or 22-250. But he loves this new round!
