They were designed as a very fragile bullet so that they fragment very easily/quickly upon impact. Not good for coyote sized game, but rather rock chucks, priairie dogs, etc.
Not all hollow points are equal. In other words, they all are designed differently, much like plastic tipped bullets are. They make look about the same, but designed for different purposes.

if you hunt in an area that has cover, I would not use them. If those hit a blade of grass the will be knocked off course.

My buddy is currently using them, he loves them! He uses them on yote's, cause he collects the pelts. He showed me some photos of some yotes hes shot and it completely jellifies the inside, very impressive..... He reloads them, I'm not sure what cal. either a 223 or 22-250. But he loves this new round!

What about copper build up? Does he have a problem with a lot of copper deposits inside the barrel as compared to other bullets?

I hope to try these bullets out as well because when 'yote hunting often fox come in and from the reports in Balistic Gel they may disinigrate in the fox and minimize exit holes. WOuld love to hear a report on a 223 grenade launched into some fox.

I was reading or watching something, and it said that the bullet is so fragile, it will explode if you shoot a grape.:D

Varmint Grenades are WORTH IT! They are a great bullet. They just vaporize prarie dogs. They have a very brittle core and a a hollow pocket in the top of the bullet. They explode! Barnes has a video on their website of it hitting a grape. here's the URL:
