Default Catching Bandits

I am interested in purhcasing some traps to catch them bandit racoons. I was thinking of the dog proof kind. has anyone used them and had much luck with them. do you have to bury them or just lay em on top of the ground. Where are the best deals found. I found several different kinds from duffers to coon cuffs brands at all different price ranges. thanks for the help. I plan to thin the coons around my feeders.

I haven't used them but have heard that they work well. You will have to bury them, can't just set them on the ground.

If it's just coons, get a havahart and put a can of catfood in w/ some bacon bits and marshmallows.

I agree with coolbrze0 the havahart traps work great.I have one for pest control around my deer feeders.I have caught as many as 5 coons a week in the same trap.Coons have a sweet tooth and cant resist sweets and sardines, you'll be amazed what you can catch with grape jelly and sardines and if you catch a dog in it just let it go[whoop the **** out of it so you wont catch it again the next night]
