first time trappin.

Default first time trappin.

Im new at trappin and set up 2bow traps about 20ft from a pond.I set some dried corn i uced from my deer feeders...Would that work to catch coons?

a better lure would be vanilla extract, honey, anything sweet smelling

You can get a can of Jack Mackeral for 99 cents for a 16 ounce can. That's what i am using and i had six coons in my traps this morning. Caught two coons and a buck mink yesterday with it. Canned cat food works good too and you can get it for 15 cents a can at some places.
