RE: QUARTER INCH GROUPS W/ .22 at 150 yards?

I have to agree with Kansas here. 1/4 inch at 100 is bout near impossible for most tactical rifle built for that shooting MATCH GRADE ammo designed for accuracy. ANd the to say it will shoot 1/2 inch at 200. You are talking a 1/4 minute angle gun there. I don't know too many companies that will even try to make that claim, let alone that will do it consistantly. I've been to the Army Sniper School, so I guess I shoot fairly well, and even with the best equipment out there, those groups are near impossible at 200 for MOST people with a good gun, let alone a .22 Cal.
And a little off this post here, but I am pretty sure that I saw you post that you killed squirrels at 300 yds with this Rifle. YEAH RIGHT!!!!! You tell me that you do it with a .270, .308, .300 Win Mag, .338 LM I might believe it. MIGHT

The only way you got a 1/4" group at 150 yards with that rig is if you only shot a 1 shot group. I think you are confusing feet and inches.

OK, I gotta know, and don't tell us "deer scope" because that don't mean diddly, What kind of scope, make, power, and type of reticle, is on the rifle?

Pics do not prove anything. Below, you will find a pic of one of my targets that was shot with my Savage 17HMR at a distance of 250 yards.

Actually, it was shot at 50 yards. Just because you posted a pic doesn't prove that it was at the stated distance.

this at 200 yards today 1" groups
What happened to the 1/2" at 200 you were originally claiming? Doesn't really matter because I don't believe you shot a 1" group at 200 yards either.

And that is not a 1" group. The holes will be close to .22" in diameter. Therefore, with a horizontal string (such as yours) you could get 4 in a row and be sub inch. I count 8 in the middle string. Even though they are not perfectly edge to edge, they are pretty close. That group is closer to 2", and it still does not prove distance.
