Plain Coveralls Vs. Camo (Picture)
Thought it might be fun to see the difference side by side. I'm sure from the looks that it sure didn't hurt and as a new guy to coyote hunting, I need the extra edge.
I also purchased a camo air seat. Since I have been going out sometimes all day and sit on the frozen hard ground, my butt has gotten cold, muddy and wet. Well I haven't tried it yet, but this thing is neat! Clips around your waist like a "fanny pack" and very soft to sit on and should keep the fanny warm too. Don't know about you guys, but when you hit 42 you start feeling more aches and pains with out adding to them, I would be happy to post a picture of this thing here at this post if anyones interested. Nice thing too is that its hands free, it stays on your waist.

Well, I hate to "burst your butt pad, and I won't, 'cause the first time you sit on a cactus, it will". I tryed them too, Catman, but that's exactly what happened to mine, got holes in them, I tried two of them, and they both went flat pretty quick. I don't think I even had a pad when I was down last time, but I went to Wally World and got a foam pad. No more flat butt pads for me. I do like your camo versus non-camo comparison, looks good. Hope it helps your shooting ability too!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Skyhigh-
Home made shooting sticks with 4 inches above the cross and held together with a metal screw and wing-nut. Hot glued some felt on the edges to protect my rifle. I saw this on a varmit hunting site somewhere and thought it was neat.
Howler-
I didn't of that and as a matter of fact, last time I was out, sat right on some cactus sheds. I didn't feel it right away cuz my butt was already frozen...hehe.
I did see that square pad at Walmart next to the air pad, the foam cushion one. If mine goes flat, I'll be headed back to Wally World. The reason I got the air one was I sat on both in the store and the air one was more comfortable and I really liked the quick buckle.
Hope that darn thing don't pop when a cats coming to the call! heh

i had an air seat once...it was nice as a seat could be when it held air...within the first week of turkey hunting my first year i had a sore @$$ to say the least...thing was worthless after it quit holding air...my dad broke 2..i didnt buy another one after the first...now i quit carring except when theres snow or frozen ground..thats terrible..i always find something to take in them conditions..and my turkey vest has a seat in it...my dad has a foam one..its like 2 inches thick! has to harder but still soft layers on the outsides and one giant soft layer in the middle..its so soft when he sits in leaves you can see the lines in the foam for a long while afterwards...i think im going to get one of them if i can find them..havent seen them since he bought his! i like the comparison...i didnt think it would make THAT much of a diffrence...
