Default scoring coyotes...how is it done?

I know deer are scored in inches with the antlers and all, and bears are scored by the square foot, but how do you tell if a coyote is a shooter, and how is it scored?

never heard of a scoring system for coyote, never realy though about it.i'm sure there is a scoring system for them but i don't know what it is.the only way i have ever refered to coyotes is by weight.and besides, big or small any coyote is a shooter.

I would have to agree with coyoteseeker on the skull, that or from tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. I seriously doubt it would be the hide since it is prone to being stretched or shrunk depending on how it is handled after removed.
