RE: 30-06 Round for Coyotes?

First, I am not a reloader, YET, so all my shooting is with factory ammo. I was recently going to do some coyote hunting with my pre-64 Winchester 70. I tried some of the 125 gr. Federal Power-Shoks, thinking all along that the accuracy would probably not be as good as the heavier bullets I have shot. Much to my surprise, these shot better than anything I have ever shot out of this gun.

Glad that you have found an accurate load for your gun. Get those coyotes.

As I am not planning on keeping the fur...
...what grain bullet would you recommend for coyote hunting?
I haven't had the opportunity to shoot a coyote yet, but the obvious answer is 'the one that is most accurate' given that yotes are fairly small.

I would tend toward lighter bullets that expand violently since you just dont need the penetration, but may be able to make use of a flatter trajectory.
