anyone actually crow hunt?
I recently bought a crow call to use as a locater for turkey hunting. As I was reading how to use it the variety of calls got me to wondering if anybody actually calls these guys in? If so, do you eat 'em or what?

I do call them in about every other weekend just for some fun. The crows around here are coming up with diseases so the DNR are pressing us to shoot them (yet the season is only 2 months long???). So I just leave them for nature to take care of.

I have crow hunted, its pretty fun when nothing else is in season, give you something sporting to shoot at. No we don't eat them. They are very wise, but nasty birds, couldn't see anyone eating them. Did anyone read the hunting article in the American Hunter (NRA mag) about 3 months ago on the crow hunter (Jim....) that has killed almost 100,000 of them. Makes me want to get out of this office and go crow hunting right now.
