That cleared that up quick enough, however here the coyotes do take a few moose down each winter.

If you think them are yotes please come here to Wisconsin and do some yote hunting. We could use some wolf population thinning.
If you think they are wolves come to Maine! It has been documented that at times coyotes do in fact take down moose. The coyotes here are known as the eastern coyote. They are a cross between wolve and coyote making the a hybred killing machine. Yes they take a lot of prey from the hind leggs as well. It is not uncommon for an adult coyote to reach 80lbs. here. However most that are shot or trapped are normally smaller as they are the younger ones.
80lb coyote is a joke sir . Midwest Yotes are as big as they are anywheres and 60 pounders are rare. Now where did I say a group ofyotes wouldn't kill a moose.

The 80 lb thing is incorrect.. no matter where they dont grow that big.. Yes, the eastern coyotes are bigger but not 80 pounders.. 45-50 usually.. whereas western coyotes go around 30-35

Also, coyotes dont usually hunt in groups of seven. That is another characteristic of wolves --hunting in bigger packs.

And them look like wolves not coyotes. I have a feeling anyone who says them are yotes hasn't seen wolves in the wild. I just called a group of 3 in last weekend while after foxes.

Is that right? Guess someones is wrong here huh? I am currently waiting for a photo to be sent that shows one of them little 45 punders LMAO! The pour little fella is only 6 feet long too.

Have you spent any time in the woods? As a rule they travel as 1 but when they get game out where they want them the whole pack moves in for the kill! Also they take turns traveling waiting for the right moment.

Yeah I must be imagining things as Maine says none are here and one poor fella shot one and had to pay a big fine, spend time in jail, and lost his hunting lisence for life because none are here. Another one was killed in trap about 2 years ago but we have no wolves.
