i just went rabbit hunting for the first time a couple of weekends ago and it is a blast!

we didnt have any dogs, we just walked thru the brush kicking it.

the thickest stuff possible is where we kicked out the most rabbits.

gumby, Are you heading out somewhere around Grand Rapids? I think you live around here if I am correct. If so, good luck and it should be a great experience if you have some people that know what they are doing. If not, it will bea learning experience. If so, where abouts will you be going? Good luck with this snow.

Good luck, the rabbits might be a little held up with all this snow. Just gotta get out there and try.

try places where pasture meets woods that has lots of rose bushes. Or along cut fields with los of grass. Sunny days with lots of snow are the best. As for tracking wioth dogs it makes it a lot easer if its above 20 degrees so they can get a good trail. Good luck.
