hey guys,
I live in central, Me and just got a electronic caller for christmas...ive never actually shot a coyote but ive been trying too. Today we took it out for the frist time....Its wireless and its supposed to go up to about 200 yards but today we wre sitting 30-40 yards away and it just wouldnt work. As soon as you got close to it it would work again. We could have got a wired one for about 100 bucks cheaper so this is making me mad.....batteries were new ....anyone know what could be wrong??

It might have meant that the sound travels 200 yards, might want to read the package again.
200 yards seems like a long way to me, unless it was a high dollar system (I've seen some "remote" systems for 60 dollars...) and even then the remote and receiver might have to be in direct line of sight of each other. Electronics are finnicky.

I have an electronic caller with a remote, but the remote will only work about 10-15 yards. It must have been talking about distance the caller (sound) will travel. What kind of caller did you get?
