Default Cheap yote killer

I was thinking of buying a rossi single shot in 223 for yote hunting I only get out a couple of times a year and the farthest I need to shoot where I hunt would be 200 yards. I can get a new one for $149 and I already have a scope for it and some shooting sticks do you guys think this cheap of a gun will Kill a yote at 200 yards or am I wasting my 150 dollars. I have a 270 rem that shoots good but it seems a bit much for the dogs I also would use the rossi for chucks at the same kind of distance under 250yards. Thanks for any input in advance.

Get it! Why not for 150 clams.

Break it in proper and it'll be a nice little rig for yotes and other varmints

I just looked at a Rossi .223 yesterday am probably going to go pick it up this weekend. I don’t know how much I am going to get out so I am starting with a less expensive gun. I like the challenge of one shot (like a bow). My friend has one in a .243 and loves it. Let me/us know if you get one.

Picked up a Rossi .223 last night for $140 only shot it once today but was impressed with the comfort of it. I got it for two reasons: one I do not know how much I will get out, so it seemed like a bettor buy for my use. And two I like the challenge of one shot. My only complaints about it are that the scope mount is a little wider than my scope rings (like that’s Rossi’s fault) and it is not made in America. But all in all it seems good.
