This is an H&R Ultra rifle that started out as a 22-250 but quickly changed once I got my hands on it. Here's what I did to make it better.

1 - Rechambered to 22-250 Improved - Rimmed (307 Winchester case)...

2 - Recrowned with 11 degree target crown and added muzzle brake so I could literally watch the bullet impact through the scope...

3 - Adjusted trigger down a clean and crisp 15 ounces...

4 - Modified base and barrel for the larger 8-40 base screws and bedded base to barrel...

5 - Pillar and glass bedded forend...

6 - Added Harris Bi-Pod for stability...

7 - I mounted a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5X10-40mm w/ranging recticle in a set of Burris Signature ZEE Rings...

Shooting SPEER's 52 gr. Hollow Point at 3,800 fps. will keep 3-shot groups under an inch at 200 yards and will all but literally vaporize a crow when hit in thecenter of it's breast....
