Are you talking about the Daisy Buck lever action? If you are, then i would have to say no. I bought one for my 3y.o. daughter this Christmas. It is a BB only gun. If you plan to hunt anything with an air rifle, you need one that will push a .177cal pellet at least 800fps. Get over a 1000fps and it would be even better. I have hunted rabbits,Hare, birds and even small predators with air rifles. If you are looking for the most bang for your buck go to Wally world and pick up a Gamo rifle. They usually come set up with an air rifle scope. Make sure to use an air rifle scope. Recoil is differant and they will brake a regular rifle scope.
