Default What electonic caller?????????

I'm just starting out hunting coyotes. What would be a good (not expensive) electonic caller?

They aren't cheap, but FoxPro is one of the best if not the best.

The cheap callers that don't run on tapes or CD's, and don't have any type of loud speakers, don't have enough volume to do much good, IMHO. You'd be in world's better shape with hand calls.

I use the Johnny Stewart Preymaster. It usually runs about $130 - $150. It works just fine for me.

I bought a phantom digital caller when I first started so save some money... ended up buying a foxproafter some issues with it... bestmoney I had spent. If you end up buying a cheaper call you will eventually wished you put that money toward a better caller down the road... I did.

I have a jonny stewart but I'm probably gonna get a miska or maybe a fox pro. Go to www.predatormasters.com and look at the electronic call forum. I guess it really depends on how much money you want to spend, the nice things about the foxpro and miske callers is they are remote controled and you can set them up a couple hundred yards from your position and also control a decoy with the units remote. Miske can build you a caller with the decoy built in .
