Default HELP!

I caught a possum this mornin in one of my box traps for like the 5th time in a row. This time i decided to put him into my fenced in dog pen in the back yard to see if it would hold him. the dogs havnt been in it since winter. when we came back from playin pool, i checked to see if he was still under the brushpile that was in there from last year and he was gone. but i found two dead baby rabbits laying under it. after takin a closer look around, i found a rabbits nest with two rabbits still alive hidden in the nest. keep in mind that i had pulled up the brush pile but after finding the nest, i tried to put it back the way i had found it. should i leave the lil bunnies where they are and hope the mother comes back, or should i try to take care of them myself untill there old enough to be on there own?

Default RE: HELP!

leave 'em, momma will find them, as long as you left a hole big enough for her to get back into the pile to them, she will come back!
