Just wondering if we have any other guys on here who enjoy shooting badgers? I got about 15 this summer on the ranch I work at. I can find some pics if anyone is interested.
Tell me about how you got them?
I use a ruger 77 22-250 with 50 g H-VMAX's and a harris Bipod and shoot them from a few hundred yards away. One time with my Tikka .222 Rem (Awesome gun) I was walkin into a field to set up for a fox, when i came over a hill and there were 4 badgers within 60 yards, man was it intense I managed to get two before they got down there hole.

I have, try not to make a habit of it, hunting in saskatchewan landowners usually wont let you on unless you promis to shoot every badger and coyote you see

They're legal here in California, but I've never seen one. I've seen tons of red fox (protected) and hunted grey fox, bobcats (by the ton), coyotes, skunks, etc....Never seen an elusive badger. Not many of them down here in SoCal I guess.
