Legal poaching
anyone ever heard of legal poaching? If I got squirrels in my house I am allowed to eliminate them anytime of the year.I can sit in my yard with a 22 and plink them all I want and it be legal.go figure.They become rodents then and are no longer a squirrel.

Check with the DFW in your state. Here in Mass you can kill anything causing damage to your land and property with the exception being deer. There is a reporting process which requires you to inform the state what you have killed. The state reserves the right to collect the remains of the animal of course.

Yes in many states you are allowed to take nuisance animals, you just cant' utilize meat or fur. At least this is my understanding.

What do you mean I can't utilize the meat or fur? All this time I've been catching rats and mice and making one helluva good soup out of them. Oh well!...............Just Kidding
