Default .22 rimfire for small game in Washington

in washington can you use a .22 for small game?cause i haerd somewhere that all but a few .22 rounds are rimfire which is illegal for other hunting here.

i wouldnt understand why it would be illegal for small game, but larger game like deer and what not i can understand

yeah for big game you cant have anything rimfire or any caliber lower than .24
