I've read alot of hunters suggest 223 because of cheap ammo. What is a good cheap brand/grain etc. (for coyote hunting). And, where is a good place to accuire it. Of course I would like it to be accurate as possible. All suggestions welcome. Thanks
I'm back to reading this forum after years of not doing so and am excited about trying my luck with coyotes in my area, south Louisiana. I've seen a growing number in the area.

Try www.ammunitionstore.com . Ammunitionstore.com has good stuff. Second, try Wal-Mart, always low prices. Lastly,go to www.sportsmansguide.com and order their free catalogs. They have like three that come in the mail and one is all for ammo, tactical crap, and cool stuff for guns. Great Prices!

Keep in mind, when ordering ammo online, alot of states require to pay additional fees for hazardous material shipping on top of shipping costs. With that in mind, Wal-mart like I said or shop around for any retail pricing. Maybe, next christmas, if you are doing a lot of shooting, ask for a press to reload your own. That will cut down prices greatly as well.

Thanks for the info. I do get some of the sportsman's guide catalogs and have seen ammo in there. I was just wondering if there was some particular brand that may have been favored for price or accuracy or whatever reason.
