Default Checking the trap.

I went with two of my buddies today to check one of the few traps he set out. Prior to today we had 4 birds inside.(small woodpeckers and english sparrows) When we were walking to it today in amazement the trap was rolled over the birds gone. Because of the melting snow we did not see any tracks although there was some crap.... it looked almost like a smaller dogs droppings in the form of mud and it had hair in it, so im guessing that it was a smart old fox. The trap was set near a den.
