Default Now I know where they went !

I was somewhat depressed to find very few squirrels on the property at my new home , with a woods filled with several varieties of nut trees you'd think that they would be thick as fleas on a hound . All year long I kept watching for them and never saw more than two the whole time . I was starting to think that the neighborhood cats , owls , and hawks were eating them all , silly me . I had forgotten that the squirrels all lay low until the see me sitting in my blind deer hunting , then they all go apesheit . Boy is my face red ! With the mast year that we've had this year the numbers of them next season should be at least four times this year's , next August is beginning to look far more promising .

Default RE: Now I know where they went !

Where I am at the squirrels have disapeared.
How do I know.

Each year I put peacons on my picnic table and they come and get them off.

Well this year I put some on the picnic tables and they have been,
There for 2 months.

I know there not bad because I have cracked some of them.
And have eatin them and there good.

There are lots of acorns and hickory nuts every where.
Its been really dry so that might be why there gone.
Gone to some where else where theres water.

In any case there gone.

Oh Well
