Portable shooting table plans?
I took a set of fold up legs off an old banquet table and have been looking for plans for a light enough yet sturdy enough table for shooting. I want to make it ambi b/c my 8 year old is left eye dominant. Any links or ideas would be great. Thanks in advance!

I don't know about making one, but there are several good shooting rests out there that are cheap and easy to transport. My favorite is one that attaches to your tow hitch. Try Cabelas, BassPro, Sportsmansguide.com, and Cheaperthandirt.com. I'm sure you'll find something you like. At the very least, you should be able to look at how they're made and maybe come up with your own design.

Go to Rimfirecentral.com and search for a link about shooting tables. There is a guy that made some that looked very sturdy and were very nice. He should be able to help you out, but the pictures are nice enough to help a capeable workman<---not me.
hope this helps.
