How do you carry your squirrel through the woods?

Default How do you carry your squirrel through the woods?

I got a squirrelyesterday morning. It was a pain to carry him around the rest of the time. So, how do you guys carry yours after you get them?

I either stash them where I can find them, or sometimes when its really warm I carry a cooler with drinks on ice and toss the squirrels in there

Buy a vest with a game pouch in the back. Its a good idea to keepthe in a vest bcuz other hunters may see it and think its a live squirrel and shoot.

I have several of those clips that you hange you shower curtin with ,the metal ones.you know they make a circle with an end that clips under the other end. I sharpen the end to a fine point ; I stick it through oneback leg,just above the knee clip it to a belt loop and close. when I get 5 or 6 on it , I get another.works great and they don't get hot in a game bag. air cool.

A upland vest with a game pouch is the best way i have found just throw the lil buggers in there and away u go.

i put em into my vest pouch along with two of those re/usable ice packs.

really like the idea of making a stringer out of old shower curtain rings.............now that is slick
