I shoot a model 60 and i used to shoot the remington golden bullets with good accuracy, but i switched over to`CCI Mini-mags and Velocitors. If your gun doesnt like CCI,s at all i would try out the rem golden bullets or some of the federals.

I just now picked upsome remington .22 LR bulletsthat are gold in color, but do the ones your talking about say "gold?" Also, the CCI minimags I have are hollow point. Does that make a difference in accuracy? The guy at BassPro said the CCI's come out hot and that might account for some inaccuracy. I will try them again and the remingtons and see what is what.
Thanks!

The mini-mags come in holo and non-holo points you just have to look around to find them. Also the mini-mags are similar to the Remington golden bullets in velocity and shouldnt come out too hot. I personally think that the CCI's are a lot more consistent with powder charge and overall cartridge quality (thus the price difference as well). The Velocitors might come out a little too hot if you are using and older model 60 with some wearing in the riflings or your gun just might prefer slower velocities. Golden bullets are a high velocity round so they some out somewhat fast. I would buyonebox of all the ammo you can afford, find a steady rest and do some testing. Its fun to do, you get a lot of practice and you see how and where your gun shoots with each ammo brand.
